About the Role:

We are looking for a
Chemical Laboratory Analyst
to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine chemical analyses of coconut-based raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
  • Perform tests such as moisture content, FFA, and other quality parameters following established methods.
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Record and interpret analytical data accurately and prepare corresponding reports.
  • Support process monitoring and troubleshooting through timely analytical feedback.
  • Ensure all analyses comply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Assist in method validation, documentation, and internal/external audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferably a
    Licensed Chemist or Chemical Technician
    .
  • At least
    1–2 years of laboratory experience
    in a food, oil, or manufacturing environment (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Knowledge of wet chemistry techniques, titration, and instrumental analysis (GC, HPLC, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules if required.
