Job Title: HR Business Partner

Location: Onsite – Davao City 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM 

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports to: HR Manager

Job Summary:

Global Staff Network is seeking a dedicated, people-driven HR Business Partner to join our internal People & Culture team. In this role, you'll serve as a strategic partner to both our employees and Australian clients, championing employee engagement, organizational culture, and HR best practices across the board.

You'll play a vital role in fostering a positive employee experience, enhancing performance outcomes, and driving people-focused initiatives that align with both our internal goals and our clients' expectations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee engagement across assigned teams, conducting regular 1:1 check-ins, pulse surveys, and stay interviews to monitor well-being and satisfaction.
  • Partner with Australian clients to manage employee lifecycle events, including performance updates, contract changes, leave approvals, and offboarding.
  • Analyze and report on engagement trends, proactively identifying risks such as early signs of disengagement or potential attrition.
  • Design and implement employee engagement strategies, including wellness programs, recognition initiatives, and team-building activities.
  • Lead and continuously improve the onboarding and cultural integration processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Maintain and update accurate employee records using HRIS platforms, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating sensitive issues to the HR Manager as needed.
  • Support performance management processes by coordinating reviews, collecting feedback, and tracking development plans and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to roll out HR initiatives that reinforce company values and support employee development.
  • Contribute to the creation, refinement, and communication of HR policies and employee guidelines.
  • Prepare and present HR reports and insights, including engagement metrics, performance trends, and key HR KPIs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an HRBP, People & Culture, or generalist HR role, preferably in a client-facing or international environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Experience working with Australian or global clients is a plus.
  • Discreet and trustworthy in handling sensitive employee data and concerns.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and basic reporting/analytics tools.
