About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Medical Coder to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about accuracy in coding and want to contribute to high-quality healthcare documentation while maintaining work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Medical Coder (e.g., CPC-A, CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of coding experience
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficient in using coding software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Ensure coding compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to clarify documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
- Meet productivity and quality benchmarks consistently.
