Payroll Manager

General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, supervise, and oversee daily operations of the entire Payroll team and end-to-end payroll process.
- Review, validate, and ensure accuracy of all payroll computations and system entries.
- Approve weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll payouts and disbursements.
- Prepare, review, and reconcile GCASH reconciliations, billing documents, and related reports.
- Monitor client claims, disputes, and payroll-related concerns, managing responses via the ticketing system.
- Record payroll transactions in accounting software and oversee weekly funding requests to Treasury.
- Prepare and maintain timely, accurate payroll reports for management, related parties, and third-party clients/vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations (Labor Code, Tax Code, BIR, SEC, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, auditors, and internal departments; support audits and company initiatives.
- Continuously review and improve payroll policies, internal controls, process flows, and provide support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, HR or related field
- At least five (5) years of managerial work experience in payroll management or related field
- Expertise in the entire Timekeeping-Payroll-Billing process
- Technical knowledge of relevant laws and payroll systems
- Strong understanding of manual payroll processes
- Familiarity with payroll software
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong time management, leadership, and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business conditions
