Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managerial position (3 direct reports, SEO specialists); but global scope on responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated SEO and GEO strategies, while managing and mentoring a high-performing team.
  • Monitor and adapt to generative AI trends to optimize visibility in AI-powered search and conversational experiences.
  • Oversee site architecture, crawlability, speed, mobile optimization, and structured data to ensure technical excellence.
  • Enhance content structure, metadata, internal linking, and UX to improve rankings and engagement.
  • Leverage NLP, entity optimization, and topical authority to align with evolving AI search algorithms.
  • Partner with content teams to create and optimize high-impact, search-intent-driven content across the funnel.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform strategy and capture emerging search behaviors.
  • Build a strong backlink profile, manage online reputation, and implement local SEO best practices.
  • Align SEO and GEO efforts with each stage of the customer journey to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with paid media and marketing teams to unify organic and paid strategies for maximum impact.
  • Define KPIs, track performance, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of SEO/GEO trends and tools, continuously testing and refining strategies.
  • Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and accountability.
  • Assess team needs and partner with HR to recruit and retain top SEO and GEO talent.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of hands-on SEO management experience, in SaaS, B2B tech, or high-growth digital environments.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing SEO teams, including mentoring, performance management, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment (must be accountable in KPIs, not supervisory-level)
  • Demonstrated expertise in technical, on-page, online, and semantic SEO, with proven results in organic growth.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of generative AI's impact on search (GEO) and agility in adapting to search innovation.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across content, marketing, and paid media teams within global organizations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php150,000.00 per month
