JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Inspect tubeless, tube-type, and solid tires for wear, punctures, cuts, cracks, and other defects; identify whether repair or replacement is required

  • Properly mount and dismount all types of tires (including using specialized tools for solid tires) on various vehicles and equipment, following safety and technical standards

  • Carefully install or replace tubes and flaps in tube-type tires; patch or replace inner tubes as needed

  • Install and remove solid tires using hydraulic presses or mechanical tools, ensuring correct alignment and safety

  • Perform cold and hot patching, plug repairs, and vulcanizing procedures for damaged tires, including section repairs on large or specialty tires

  • Accurately check and adjust air pressure to manufacturer-recommended levels using gauges and inflation tools

  • Monitor tire condition and wear patterns; rotate tires periodically to extend lifespan and improve safety

  • Dispense fuel safely and accurately to company vehicles and equipment

  • Record fuel issuance per equipment

  • Assist mechanics with general maintenance tasks such as pitstop, oil changes, filter replacements, or parts handling when tire and fuel tasks are not required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Has the High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with tubeless, tube-type, and solid tires (especially in heavy equipment like cranes).
  • Exposure to fuel dispensing operations and workshop assistance is a plus.
  • Has the skills Tire Mounting & Dismounting Techniques, Tube and Flap Handling, Tire Rotation & Tread Pattern Evaluation, Tire Load Rating and Ply Analysis.
  • Ability to assist with mechanical tasks such as pitstop checks, oil changes or filter replacements, basic recordkeeping for tire and fuel logs.
