About the Client

The client is building the first digital trading platform for green specialty coffee—bringing transparency, efficiency, and trust to a historically opaque market. By standardizing product classification, mapping coffees to pricing curves with proprietary methodology, ensuring traceability, streamlining logistics and payments, and reducing credit risk, we equip producers, exporters, importers, and roasters with the tools they need to trade with confidence.

We are building the industry's first digital trading platform for green specialty coffee—designed to bring transparency, efficiency, and trust to a historically opaque market. By rationalizing product classification, employing proprietary methodology for pricing curve construction, mapping product to pricing curves, ensuring product traceability, and streamlining logistics, payments, and mitigating credit risk for the parties, we empower both producers, exporters, importers and roasters with the tools they need to trade with confidence.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representativeto fuel the top of our sales pipeline. This role is crucial for our global expansion, focusing on strategic research, lead qualification, and appointment setting for our Account Executives.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Targeted Prospecting: Conduct daily research using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seamless AI, and industry directories to build targeted lead lists across all customer segments (producers, exporters, importers, roasters).
  • Lead Qualification: Execute multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn InMail, phone) to qualify leads based on volume, specific trading needs, and alignment with the Kaffea-X platform.
  • Appointment Setting: Successfully schedule qualified demonstration calls and discovery meetings for the Account Executives at various Regions
  • Data Management: Rigorously track all lead activity, communications, and intelligence in the Zoho CRM system, ensuring data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Provide insights on common prospect pain points and objections to the marketing team to optimize content strategy.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in B2B cold calling, lead generation, or sales development, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Zoho preferred) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Highly organized, tenacious, and goal-oriented.
  • Familiarity with global commodity or agricultural supply chains is a plus.
