
Assistant Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:
- Prepare Financial Statements monthly and as-needed, such as the Income Statement and Balance Sheet with supporting schedules, such as, but not limited to Revenues, Operating Expenses, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and Income Tax Computation
- Prepare and submit reports to the BIR, SEC, PEZA, NWRB, LGU, external auditors and other stakeholders.
- Process Requests for Payment (RFPs) for BIR, LGU, SEC, and Directors.
- Responsible for clearing Advances to Employees, Suppliers and Contractors.
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Monitor and post monthly accruals of revenues and expenses
- Manage the deductions set up in the Payroll System
- Ensure compliance with tax and other government regulations, and proper accountability of company assets and resources according to existing internal control systems and Company policies procedures
- Attend to the audit requirements of internal and external auditors and BIR examiners
- Ensure proper filing of Check Vouchers and other Accounting documents
Qualifications:
- Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the preparation of financial reports and statutory filings with government regulatory bodies (SEC, BIR, PEZA, LGU, NWRB, etc.); Experience in processing of payables and payroll
- Educational Background: BS Accountancy; CPA
- Training and Skills:
-Financial reporting and compliance, basic accounting, payables processing, tax preparation and filing
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Exposure to SAP or another ERP is a plus
