Job overview

As an IT Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating a team of IT professionals to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of IT services and solutions to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful completion of IT projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT-related challenges, implement innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT department
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the IT team, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and professional development
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the IT department and the organization as a whole

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a team leadership role within the information and technology (IT) industry
  • Strong technical expertise and understanding of various IT systems, technologies, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies
  • An analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making
