About the role

Sommet Construction Incorporated is seeking an experienced Office Engineer to join our team in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As an Office Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide technical support and oversight for project planning, design, and construction activities
  • Review and analyse engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, technical reports, and project schedules
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and timely completion of tasks
  • Monitor project progress and quality, and identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Contribute to the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Provide support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field
  • Open for Fresh graduate
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of civil/structural engineering principles, design, and construction practices
  • Proficiency in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
