Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Coordination

  2. Assist in developing detailed project plans and schedules.

  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, construction).
  4. Support project managers with reporting and documentation.

  5. Technical Oversight

  6. Review and understand technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.

  7. Monitor and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and codes.
  8. Troubleshoot technical issues on-site and provide engineering solutions.

  9. Procurement & Materials Management

  10. Assist in selecting vendors and evaluating technical aspects of bids.

  11. Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment per project specifications.

  12. Site Supervision

  13. Monitor on-site activities to ensure quality and progress align with plans.

  14. Work with construction teams to resolve technical problems on the ground.

  15. Documentation & Reporting

  16. Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.

  17. Provide updates to senior engineers or project managers on project status.Must-Know Technical Skills & Knowledge

    Depending on the industry (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.), the following technical expertise is expected:

    ## General Technical Knowledge:

    • Engineering Drawings & Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, layout plans.
    • Project Management Tools: Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera, or other scheduling software.
    • Quality Assurance & Control: Familiarity with QA/QC standards and documentation.
    • Technical Specifications & Standards: Awareness of industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO, ASME).

    ## Software Skills:

    • AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Revit – For creating or reviewing design drawings.
    • MS Office Suite – Especially Excel for reporting and scheduling.
    • ERP Systems – Such as SAP for procurement and resource planning.

    ## Discipline-Specific Skills:

    Civil Engineer:
    - Knowledge of structural design, concrete/steel standards.
    - Familiarity with site grading, drainage, and surveying tools.Mechanical Engineer:
    - HVAC, piping, and rotating equipment knowledge.
    - Thermal systems and stress analysis understanding.Electrical Engineer:
    - Knowledge of electrical systems design (low/high voltage).
    - Load calculations, cable sizing, and protection systems.


    ## Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
    • 2–5 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Certification in project management (PMP) or construction (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
