About the role

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and translate these into cohesive interior design concepts
  • Prepare detailed design plans, including layouts, colour schemes, furniture selections, and material specifications
  • Source and procure high-quality furnishings, fixtures, and finishes that align with the design vision
  • Manage projects from initial concept to successful completion, ensuring designs are delivered on time and within budget
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate the implementation of design plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies to enhance your skills and deliver innovative solutions continuously

What we're looking for

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as an Interior Designer, ideally within the residential or commercial sectors
  • Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and spatial planning
  • Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A creative, innovative mindset and the drive to deliver exceptional design solutions
