WHY WE NEED YOU:

As the Events and Communications Lead, you are responsible for coordinating and executing marketing plans relating to our external corporate identity, with the guidance of the Brand Manager for Events and Communications. You are accountable for safeguarding Corporate Standards in all aspects of the business, especially with communication materials, events standards and execution of PLUS services at stores level.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Build and maintain Generika's Corporate Reputation, including external stakeholders, media relations and takes the lead during crisis management.
  • Coordinate, lead and monitor the execution of brand-building events and campaigns to promote Generika in the communities where our stores are present.
  • Support store efforts in partnering with the local government units and relevant government agencies for brand awareness and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain external and media relationships that the company can utilize when the need arises.
  • Coordinate the holding of corporate events such as the annual Business Partners' Conference. Work with the Brand Strategy and Campaigns team in conceptualizing and developing scripts for AVP, promotional, and other event materials.
  • Provide effective project management support for marketing initiatives, and work with other business units to execute business plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Maintain events and communication metrics, and provide actionable insights based on these metrics to the management.
  • Monitor and control expenses within the allotted budget.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor`s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, or equivalent
  • With 5 years of progressively responsible, verifiable experience in Marketing and Promotions; or a combination of education
  • Excellent communication both oral and written, with strong interpersonal skills
  • PR Writing is a must
  • Creative, results-oriented, and has the tenacity to sell ideas
  • Attention to detail and good analytical skills
