SUMMARY:

Responsible for monitoring and performing all legal affairs activities within his/her assigned area of expertise. The main responsibility is to do everything within his/her scope of power to keep J&T Express operations out of legal trouble.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Legal Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
  2. 2 years of experience in compliance, legal, or public policy roles.
  3. Proficient in MS Office Applications
  4. Proficient in Document and Workflow Management.
  5. Proven experience working with or in government or regulatory bodies is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  1. In-depth knowledge of public sector regulators and governance frameworks.
  2. Understanding of administrative law and regulatory compliance principles.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with public officials and regulators.
  4. Strong analytical and research skills for interpreting legal and policy documents.
  5. Maintains a positive and growth-oriented attitude toward learning and development.
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  7. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  8. Ability to interpret complex regulatory information and apply it practically.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Act as a principal liaison with governmental and public regulatory agencies.
  2. Interpret and apply applicable laws, regulations, and public governance policies.
  3. Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings, licenses, permits, and compliance reports.
  4. Track legislative and regulatory developments and advise management on implications.
  5. Coordinate internal compliance reviews and external audits by government bodies.
  6. Investigate potential compliance issues and report findings to senior leadership and regulators.
  7. Conduct compliance nationwide data analysis of submitted documentations.
  8. Manage databases of legal documents, cases, and other information.
  9. Communicate with departments, regions, and other parties involved in legal matters.
  10. Assist with ensuring corporate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  11. Organize and maintain corporate records, including contracts and other reports ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  12. Performs other functions that may be assigned by the Compliance Supervisor and Legal Director from time to time.
