Head of People

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of People to lead our HR and People function in the Philippines. The business is entering a critical phase of workforce transformation and growth, and this role will be central to shaping our employment proposition, ensuring compliance with Philippine labour law, and driving cultural and organisational change.
Key responsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Partner with the leadership team to design and deliver the People strategy
- Craft and continuously refine the employer brand to attract, engage, and retain top talent
- Support workforce transformation initiatives, ensuring people processes and capabilities evolve with the needs of the business.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, compensation, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labour legislation (DOLE regulations, Department Orders, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR requirements).
- Develop and implement compliant employment frameworks, contracts, policies, and procedures that reflect both local regulations and best practice.
- Manage external HR and legal partners where appropriate, ensuring company interests are fully represented.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, well-being, and retention, aligning with local expectations and best practice.
- Support leadership and line managers in building high-performing teams and managing employee relations issues effectively.
Systems & Processes
- Lead the implementation and optimisation of HRIS/Payroll systems, ensuring accurate data, efficient workflows, and compliance.
- Develop clear policies and procedures that balance local requirements with global standards.
- Use people analytics to inform decision-making and report on key HR metrics.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as a senior HR leader in a Philippine BPO or shared services
- environment.
- Deep understanding of Philippine labour law, DOLE regulations, and employee benefits requirements.
- Experience leading through organisational change and workforce transformation.
- Strong background in HR systems, payroll, and contract management.
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation.
