Hours: Full-time, aligned with UK business hours (8am–5pm UK / 4pm–12am PH)

Weekly hours: 35


About Us

We are a growing UK-based firm offering accounting, tax, and bookkeeping services to small businesses across the UK, looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. Our approachable team values accuracy and professionalism, and we are committed to supporting your development.

We already have several team members in the Philippines, so you will have a strong support system. All of our software and tools are online-based (e.g., Xero, Apron, Karbon, Office 365). Training will be provided, although strong Xero experience is a significant advantage.


The Role

You will primarily manage the day-to-day bookkeeping, purchase ledger, sales ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable for one of our largest clients.

Typical duties include:

· Recording, reconciling, and maintaining accurate financial transactions.

· Processing supplier invoices and payments (accounts payable).

· Managing accounts receivable.

· Assisting with bank reconciliations and expense tracking.

· Managing the client's internal bookings system (full training provided).

· Supporting the UK team with financial reporting and queries.

· Assisting with bookkeeping for other clients when required.


What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you:

· Have at least 4 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (essential).

· Ideally have industry bookkeeping experience (desirable).

· Have strong Xero experience (desirable).

· Are detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.

· Can quickly spot errors and inconsistencies.

· Are confident with online software/apps.

· Communicate effectively in English.

· Can work independently while collaborating with a remote team.

· Have a positive, "can-do" attitude.

· Are available during UK business hours.

Technical requirements:

· A designated workspace at home.

· A suitable PC/laptop with adequate specifications.

· Reliable internet connection (minimum 8mb download / 1mb upload).
