Job Summary

The Licensed Social Worker will be responsible for managing client cases, overseeing psychosocial programs, and ensuring the foundation's full documentary compliance with the standards and requirements set by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). This role requires a valid Social Worker license and experience in both direct client intervention and regulatory documentation for a Social Welfare and Development Agency (SWDA).

Key Responsibilities:

DSWD Documentary Compliance & Standards

  • Serve as the primary liaison to the DSWD for all registration, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
  • Prepare, manage, and submit all necessary documentary requirements, including annual reports, program reports, and client data, to the DSWD.
  • Conduct internal reviews and monitor performance to ensure the foundation's programs and services comply with set DSWD standards and regulations.
  • Assist in preparing for and facilitating DSWD field visits and compliance assessments.

Program Management & Implementation:

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement social welfare programs and services offered by the foundation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and recommend changes or improvements based on client feedback and DSWD guidelines.
  • Coordinate with other professionals, non-government organizations (NGOs), local government units (LGUs), and government organizations (GOs) to link clients with necessary resources.

Case Management & Client Services:

  • Conduct interviews, home visits, and social case studies to assess the needs and situations of clients.
  • Provide appropriate interventions, such as counseling, guidance, and referrals to community resources.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and comprehensive case files and records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with DSWD reporting standards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Required License: Must possess a valid license to practice Social Work in the Philippines (Registered Social Worker).
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) is the minimum requirement; a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience working in a social work agency, foundation, or non-profit organization, specifically dealing with DSWD coordination and compliance documentation.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of DSWD rules, regulations (RA 4373), and procedures for SWDAs.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and report-writing skills; ability to manage multiple demands and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Others: Experience in customer service, an advantage. Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft Office application.
