Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Strategy Manager to lead the
development and execution of social media strategies for our clients, particularly focused on
corporate reputation and crisis communications. This role is critical in aligning social media
activities with each client's broader communications and reputation goals. The ideal candidate is
an insightful storyteller, well-versed in the social media trends, and a data-driven digital
strategist, capable of developing strategies that addresses reputation and issues whilst
amplifying messages, engaging communities, and driving impact through effective use of social
platforms.
Key Responsibilities
● Strategy Development:
○ Design tailored, platform-specific social media strategies that align with client
communication goals, public relations campaigns, and reputation-building
initiatives.
○ Develop social media strategies that can address and help mitigate crisis
situations that affect corporate reputation or risk license to operate.
○ Ensure strategic alignment with clients' overarching messaging and policy
positions.
○ Ability to provide strategic advice on the best social media approach based on
the situation or requirements of the client in protecting or building corporate
reputation.
● Content Creation & Amplification:
○ Lead in developing the plan and oversee the execution of the social media
content calendar with compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences.
○ Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and content writers to produce
high-quality multimedia content.
○ Coordinate and manage social media partners, including brand advocates and
content creators to advocate and achieve the client's social media goals.
○ Leverage paid and organic strategies to increase reach, engagement, and
authority.
● Community Management:
○ Lead in identifying and recommending social media channels, communities,
groups and personalities (e.g. content creators or influencers) that can help shift
netizen sentiments based on the agreed narrative with the client (corporate
reputation or crisis management).
○ Monitor, engage, and moderate online communities across platforms to foster
positive sentiment and manage brand reputation.
● Monitoring & Analytics:
○ Track and analyze performance metrics using native and third-party analytics
tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Twitter Analytics, etc.).
○ Conduct social listening to identify trends, sentiment shifts, and opportunities or
risks in the digital space.
● Reporting & Insights:
○ Develop comprehensive social media performance reports with actionable
insights and strategic recommendations.
○ Present findings to internal stakeholders and clients, showing how social
campaigns support broader business and policy goals.
Qualifications
● Worked in Corporate PR agencies or have experience in social media strategies in-
house (corporate PR focused)
● Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
● 5+ years of experience managing social media for brands, agencies, or institutions.
● Demonstrated ability to lead and execute strategic corporate social media campaigns.
● Strong understanding of digital analytics and social media KPIs.
● Experience in or knowledge of public affairs and corporate reputation management is a
plus
● Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, issue-driven environment and manage multiple client
needs simultaneously.
Nice to Have
● Background in client servicing.
● Certifications in Digital Marketing or Social Media Strategy (Google, Meta, etc.).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php85, Php95,000.00 per month
