About the Role

As a Sr. Broker Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting our broker partners by ensuring loan applications are accurately packaged, compliant with lender requirements, and progressed efficiently through each stage of the process. From collecting and verifying documents to preparing applications in Apply Online and following up with lenders, you'll help drive faster turnaround times and smoother approvals. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly with brokers, BDMs, and third-party providers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Review and process loan applications through aggregator CRMs and Apply Online, ensuring accuracy and timely movement at every stage.
  • Assess borrower eligibility by analyzing income and credit documents (PAYG, self-employed financials, credit reports) in line with Australian lending policies.
  • Perform servicing calculations and structure loan scenarios in partnership with brokers and BDMs.
  • Coordinate pricing requests, valuations, and communications with lenders and third parties to maintain a seamless application flow.
  • Provide clear, timely updates and requirements to brokers and stakeholders to support smooth and efficient outcomes.

About You

  • Solid experience in Australian mortgage credit assessment, with expertise in reviewing tax returns, payslips, bank statements, and servicing calculations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a proven ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence in dealing with brokers, lenders, and third-party partners.
  • Comfortable navigating key industry systems and tools such as Apply Online, aggregator CRMs, and lender servicing calculators (e.g., Quickli).
  • Resilient and adaptable in high-volume, fast-paced settings, with the flexibility to extend hours when necessary.
