We're looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused 
Settlement Support Officer

About the Role

As a 
Mortgage Settlements Officer
, you'll be responsible for guiding clients through a seamless post-approval journey. From coordinating loan documents and confirming funding positions to working with solicitors, lenders, and agents, you'll ensure every settlement is completed smoothly. Beyond settlement, you'll also handle post-loan servicing tasks such as data entry, client reviews, and loan repricing requests, helping deliver great outcomes for both clients and brokers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating with clients to collect, review, and upload loan documents into the CRM.
  • Confirming funding positions and account details to ensure successful loan settlement.
  • Liaising with solicitors, lenders, and real estate agents to align settlement requirements.
  • Managing client post-settlement activities, including data entry and loan account setup.
  • Supporting clients and brokers with annual reviews and loan repricing requests

 
About You

  • Proven experience in AU mortgage settlements (mandatory).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services or mortgage lending.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling loan documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and digital tools, with ability to adapt to new applications quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, brokers, and external partners.
