Your Role:

  • Research, update, and maintain all applicable prevailing wage rates and keep apprised of federal, state, and other regulations in relation to payroll process.
  • Provide assistance to subcontractors/vendors/clients to resolve discrepancies or inadequacies in their payroll data.
  • Review and approve payroll reports and documents for multiple projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date on changes to labor compliance laws and advise Operation accordingly to ensure proper risk mitigation.
  • Maintain up-to-date labor compliance status and provide monthly labor compliance reports to Project Accountants.
  • Review email correspondence daily, follow up with resolutions for Project Accountants, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Email weekly labor compliance RFI's to all subcontractors, per project, as applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with weekly reporting requirements, including uploading certified payroll reports to appropriate job portals and governing agencies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related fields.
  • At least
    3 years of US Payroll Experience.
    Preferably with experience in Construction Industry.
  • Preferably has knowledge of labor compliance forms such as DAS140, DAS142, Fringe Benefit Statements, Labor Law Checklists, CAC2, and Union Status Letters.
  • Preferably with Union payroll experience and has understanding of Union Fringe Benefit processing and reporting.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (both written and verbal).
  • Proficient in using MS Office Applications specifically Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Amenable to Work on Night Shift.
  • Amenable to Work Onsite in Eastwood.
