
Total Rewards Officer

The Total Rewards Officer will serve as a key member of the Total Rewards Team at the head office of JG Summit, a diversified Filipino conglomerate. This role serves as a Center of Excellence (COE) and an internal consultant to JG Summit's business units across various industries, providing expert guidance on compensation, benefits, and rewards strategies. The Officer will also manage local Total Rewards initiatives at the head office and maintain strong relationships with external market peers and vendors such as WTW, Mercer, and other industry counterparts. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and passionate about driving competitive and equitable rewards programs.
WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?
Internal Consulting & COE Support:
- Partner with HR and business leaders across business units to provide expert advice on compensation and benefits strategies.
- Support the design, implementation, and governance of Total Rewards programs aligned with business goals and market trends.
- Conduct internal benchmarking and job evaluations to ensure consistency and equity across the group.
- Develop and deliver training programs for the Total Rewards Council on trends, policies and best practices. CCU
Total Rewards Management:
- Review and manage compensation and benefits programs for Corporate Center Unit (CCU) employees.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies. Sup
- port annual processes such as salary reviews, bonus planning, and benefits review and administration.
Market Intelligence & Relationship Management:
- Mai
ntain active relationships with external vendors (e.g., WTW, Mercer) and peer companies to stay updated on market trends and best practices. - Participate in industry surveys and analyze results to inform internal strategies.
- Lead and manage the Total Rewards Network, composed of practitioners from various companies. Together with the core team, organize and facilitate regular events, forums, and roundtables for members to share insights and industry best practices.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Ana
lyze compensation and benefits data to provide insights and recommendations. - Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.Ens

Budget Management
- Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to develop and manage the Corporate Human Resources budget.
- Monitor expenditures related to compensation, benefits, and wellness programs
WHO ARE YOU?
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or HR Analytics.
- Experience working in a conglomerate or multi-industry environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HRIS systems; familiarity with survey platforms (e.g., Mercer WIN, WTW Compensation Software) is an advantage.
