We are looking for a Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator to oversee the seamless purchasing of materials and maintenance of accurate inventory for a manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in ensuring production has the right materials at the right time while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable, high-quality products.
  • Purchasing Operations: Prepare purchase orders, validate requests, and coordinate with relevant departments to support timely procurement and payments.
  • Material Availability: Ensure all production materials are sourced and delivered on time to avoid delays in manufacturing schedules.
  • Inventory Oversight: Track daily usage of consumables, update inventory records, and flag any discrepancies or damaged items to management immediately.
  • Stock Management: Maintain orderly storage of materials, tools, and products while conducting regular monthly or quarterly stock audits.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate closely with accounting, production, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.
  • Administrative Support: Handle urgent errands, prepare documentation, and generate inventory reports as required by the Accounting Head or General Manager.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
  • Solid knowledge of purchasing, inventory, and warehouse processes.
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and documentation skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability to maintain precise inventory records.
