Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operations and performance of Tekila Bar and Grill, Inc.. This role ensures excellent customer service, team performance, outlet profitability, and adherence to company standards. The Operations Manager leads by example, ensures smooth daily operations, and works closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams to deliver consistent guest satisfaction
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth workflow and coordination among departments.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in working order.
- Enforce company policies, hygiene standards, safety, and cleanliness of the outlet.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure food and beverage quality and consistency.
People & Team Management
- Supervise, train, and schedule FOH staff including waitstaff, bartenders, and hosts.
- Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and implement performance improvement when needed.
- Lead daily briefings and ensure staff are updated on specials, promotions, and service standards.
- Maintain a positive work environment to reduce turnover and boost morale.
Guest Relations & Service Quality
- Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times.
- Address guest complaints, resolve service issues professionally and promptly.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on reviews or surveys.
Sales & Profitability
- Assist in setting daily/weekly/monthly sales targets and monitor outlet performance.
- Implement upselling techniques and promotions to increase average spend.
- Monitor and control outlet expenses, including labor and food costs.
- Analyze sales and operational reports to improve efficiency and profitability.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily sales reports, incident reports, and checking staff attendance records.
- Ensure accurate documentation of operational activities.
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., liquor licensing, health & safety).
- Perform other task that may be assigned by Immediate Head due to business needs.
Quality Functions:
- Ensure smooth and efficient daily restaurant and bar operations.
- Maintain high standards of food, beverage, and service quality.
- Oversee guest satisfaction by managing service performance and handling feedback.
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver consistent, excellent customer service.
- Monitor and control inventory, food cost, and labor cost effectively.
- Implement and uphold hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and back-of-house (BOH) for service flow and quality.
- Train staff to improve product knowledge, service skills, and SOP compliance.
- Enforce company policies and ensure operational discipline.
- Analyze sales reports and execute strategies to achieve revenue goals.
