About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to join our pioneering team in the Philippines. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, optimizing processes, and driving efficiency within the banking and financial services environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining internal processes, managing operational risks, and ensuring service excellence across business functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily internal operations to ensure smooth business processes.
  • Implement and monitor operational policies, procedures, and controls aligned with banking and finance regulations.
  • Oversee transaction processing, reporting, and administrative support functions.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international banking and finance standards, including risk management and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Compliance, HR, Technology) to support business goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare operational reports, and present insights to senior management.
  • Mentor, train, and manage team members to develop a high-performing operations team.
  • Act as the escalation point for operational issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Support new projects, system implementations, and business transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the banking and finance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial products, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proven track record in process improvement, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with banking/financial systems.
