JOB TITLE: AREA MANAGER (for a group of upscale restaurants)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree program in HRM.

At least 2 to 3 years of experience managing multiple restaurant units in a fast-paced,

high-volume environment.

Proven ability to lead and mentor Restaurant Managers and cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical mindset. You know your numbers and how to use them to make better

decisions.

A deep understanding of operational systems, SOPs, and restaurant workflows.

Excellent communicator: assertive but empathetic, direct but encouraging.

A commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Guide and support Restaurant Managers in preventing loss and wastage by ensuring

accurate forecasting, proper inventory controls, and timely corrective actions across assigned stores.

Monitor store performance against benchmarks; conduct financial reviews with Restaurant

Managers to identify gaps, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue/cost savings initiatives.

Monitor the daily operations of multiple stores to ensure they are running to standard, including opening, mid, and closing procedures.

Identify cross-store process gaps or inconsistencies and standardise best practices across assigned locations.

Facilitate monthly one-on-one check-ins with Restaurant Managers to align on goals,

concerns, and development.

Assess leadership potential across multiple stores and identify high-potential team members for future roles.

Audit and coach Restaurant Managers on service standards, store cleanliness and grooming.

Review and collaborate with Restaurant Managers on guest feedback responses and identify recurring pain points across assigned stores to implement improvements or training

interventions.

Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree program in HRM.

At least 2 to 3 years of experience managing multiple restaurant units in a fast-paced,

high-volume environment.
