JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist the Project Manager in controlling the project cost against the approved budget through proper monitoring and evaluation of the project including revenues and cost claims. Coordinates with the Project Quantity Surveyor and Field Superintendent for project monitoring. Coordinates with Head Office Subcon, Purchasing and Engineering Department and Mamplasan for project cost concerns. Reports to PPC Department for update of project cost and possible claims.

II. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

A. Education

· Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

B. Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Cost Engineering

· Familiar with development if the various Classes of the Estimates, Budgeting, CAPEX, forecasting and cost control.

· Fully familiar about invoice processing and cost estimating

· Fully familiar on SAP applications and MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power and Point).

· Preferably familiar with Scheduling. Software skills.

· Knowledge in Earned Value Management

· Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

· Demonstrates mathematical, analytical and consulting skills

· Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.

· Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
