As the Onboarding Manager at enablesGROUP, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the first impressions and long-term success of our clients and new hires. You'll design and execute a world-class onboarding experience that reflects our culture, accelerates productivity, and fosters client and employee engagement from day one. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, process, and creating meaningful client and employee experiences.
Key Responsibilities
First 90 Days:
Month 1 – Discovery & Immersion
· Learn the enablesGROUP culture, values, and business model.
· Conduct stakeholder interviews with Customer Leads, People & Culture, team leads, and recent hires
to understand current onboarding strengths and gaps.
· Audit existing client and employed onboarding materials, processes, and systems.
· Shadow onboarding sessions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Month 2 – Strategy & Design
· Develop a comprehensive onboarding roadmap aligned with enablesGROUP's growth and talent strategy.
· Design a structured onboarding framework that covers the periods from client signing a contract through recruitment and then pre-boarding, Day 1, Week 1, and 30/60/90-day milestones.
· Collaborate with Customer Account teams, IT, HR, and team leads to ensure seamless coordination of onboarding logistics.
· Create engaging onboarding content, including client process materials, welcome kits, training guides, and cultural immersion activities.
Month 3 – Implementation & Optimization
· Launch the new onboarding program for a pilot group of new clients and associated hires.
· Facilitate onboarding sessions and ensure a smooth experience across all touchpoints.
· Collect feedback from new clients, hires and stakeholders to iterate and improve the program.
· Establish a scalable onboarding toolkit for managers and team leads.
· Present onboarding outcomes and recommendations to leadership.
Ongoing Responsibilities
· Continuously refine the onboarding experience based on feedback and business needs.
· Partner with Learning & Development to integrate training and career pathways into onboarding.
· Track onboarding KPIs such as time-to-productivity, retention, and engagement.
· Champion a culture of belonging and inclusion from the first interaction.
What You Bring
· 3+ years in onboarding, HR, or employee experience roles, preferably in a fast-paced or consulting environment. · Strong project management and communication skills.
· Empathy, creativity, and a passion for people and culture.
· Experience with onboarding tools and HRIS platforms is a plus.
