Compensation range: $2500AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you'll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: 

We are seeking a talented ZOHO CRM Developer with strong system administration and operational management expertise to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust CRM solutions that empower our business operations and field teams. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into smart, scalable ZOHO configurations—driving efficiency, data accuracy, and user adoption across the organization. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and creating seamless digital workflows.

Key Responsibilities: 

Requirements Gathering & Licensing 

● Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture and document detailed CRM functional requirements. 

● Recommend and facilitate the appropriate Zoho licensing to support tailored CRM configurations

CRM Development & Configuration 

● Translate business needs into structured CRM designs and workflows.

 ● Develop configurations that support key personas, including sales representatives, customer service staff, mobile salespeople, and field technicians.

 ● Build and customize modules for customer management, order processing, and user role administration. 

● Configure scalable systems that allow for future functionality testing and innovation. 

Testing, Deployment & Optimization

 ● Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for all CRM environments. 

● Manage release cycles, gather user feedback, and implement continuous improvements. 

● Identify, track, and resolve defects or performance issues to ensure optimal system reliability. 

Integration & Automation

 ● Integrate CRM with communication and marketing platforms such as email marketing systems, SMS, and WhatsApp. 

● Design automation workflows that streamline communication and operational processes.

 ● Implement AI-driven features within Zoho to enhance user insights, lead scoring, and predictive analytics.

 Technical Support & Operations 

● Serve as the primary technical lead for ongoing CRM operations post-implementation. 

● Provide end-user support, conduct training sessions, and document best practices. 

● Create and maintain management dashboards to visualize CRM performance, user activity, and business KPIs

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Zoho CRM Developer or in a similar CRM-focused technical role. (at least 4 years of experience) 
  • Strong knowledge of CRM architecture, system administration, and workflow automation. 
  • Hands-on experience customizing and integrating Zoho CRM applications. 
  • Familiarity with connecting CRM systems to telephony, messaging, and marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms. 

Preferred Skills 

● Experience implementing AI and automation within CRM environments.

 ● Background supporting sales and customer service teams. 

● Familiarity with marketing campaign management, data analytics, and reporting tools. 

● Certification in Zoho CRM or related Zoho applications (a plus).

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
