Government Liaison and Compliance Associate

Job Summary:
The Government Liaison and Compliance Associate is responsible for ensuring that all company legal, business, and regulatory requirements are properly processed, updated, and maintained. This includes handling government registrations, renewals, permits, and other compliance-related documentation. The position requires on-site presence and regular fieldwork to coordinate with various government agencies such as BIR, SEC, DOLE, DTI, and local government units (LGUs).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regulatory and Business Compliance
- Prepare, file, and monitor applications, renewals, and updates of all business permits, registrations, and licenses (e.g., DTI/SEC, Mayor's Permit, BIR, DOLE, etc.).
- Ensure timely compliance with all government requirements to avoid penalties and business interruptions.
- Maintain an updated tracker and documentation system for all company permits and compliance-related files.
2. Liaison and Coordination
- Personally visit government offices (BIR, SEC, DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, LGUs, etc.) to process company transactions and follow up on applications.
- Coordinate with external agencies, consultants, and partners regarding legal and compliance matters.
- Represent the company professionally during dealings with public offices and authorities.
3. Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and organize physical and digital copies of legal and compliance documents.
- Ensure that all files are properly stored, labeled, and readily accessible when needed.
- Submit regular compliance status reports and updates to management.
4. Administrative Support
- Provide assistance in other administrative and clerical duties, such as notarization of documents, preparation of forms, and internal coordination.
- Assist in internal audits and ensure that compliance records are aligned with government standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Public Administration, Political Science, or any related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in government liaison work, compliance, or legal documentation.
- Familiarity with business registration and renewal processes in the Philippines (BIR, SEC, DOLE, LGU). Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to deal with government personnel professionally.
- Willing to do regular fieldwork and handle multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Must be trustworthy, reliable, and able to handle confidential documents with integrity.
- Must be willing to work onsite six (6) days a week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
