Job Title: Senior Finance Accountant (UK)

Work Setup & Schedule:

  • Hybrid (2PM to 11PM)

What you'll be doing:

  • Produce a full suite of Monthly Management Accounts including balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis with presentation for review.
  • Responsible for the preparation of annual statutory accounts and subsequent audit.
  • Monitor KPI's and analyze for monthly review and review trends to aid strategic decision making.
  • Supervision of accounts team.
  • Monitors task progress, identifies potential concerns, and escalates issues as needed.
  • Assist in providing cover in all areas of finance department when required.
  • Ensure the adherence of internal controls

What will make you a great fit:

  • Recognized Accountancy qualification with 2-3 years practice/commercial experience
  • Management accounts preparation with experience in delivering to tight deadlines.
  • Experience with managing a team's workflow to weekly deadlines
  • The ability to work to a high level of accuracy in a high volume and high value environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize workload.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Customer focused.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and indirectly with clients.
  • Knowledge of UK accounting standards, statutory accounts preparation, and tax regulations
