Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated IT Support Services Associate with a strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft 365 and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems, and proactively contribute to the administration and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

Cloud Support (M365, AWS, etc.)

  • Provide first and second-level support for Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot common AWS service issues (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) and escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
  • Assist with user account creation, management, and permissions within cloud environments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in cloud technologies.

Cloud Administration

  • Assist with routine cloud infrastructure maintenance, including patching, backup, and resource monitoring.
  • Help implement and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on cloud migration and optimization projects.

End-User Support

  • Respond to support requests received via phone, email, ticketing system, or in-person interactions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems.
  • Document support cases and resolutions for knowledge base development.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role, with demonstrable cloud support experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Basic familiarity with AWS services and concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
