Provide primary and urgent care during community medical missions, ensuring safe, compassionate, and efficient service delivery in field-clinic settings. Works closely with the Field Clinic Operations Manager and nursing team to meet daily targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient consults, examinations, diagnosis, and treatment; prescribe medications and procedures per DOH standards.
  • Triage cases, manage common urgent conditions, and escalate referrals when needed.
  • Use EMR/e-Konsulta tools for accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate daily flow with the Field Clinic Operations Manager (staffing, supplies, site logistics) to maintain smooth operations.
  • Supervise and collaborate with nurses/nursing aides during procedures, health education, and follow-ups.
  • Uphold clinical governance, safety, and regulatory compliance (DOH/PhilHealth/LGU coordination).

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physician (PRC) with current PTR; BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
  • Experience in primary care, community health, ER, or mission/outreach work is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in mobile/field settings; can adapt to high-volume days and rotating sites.
  • Strong bedside manner, teamwork, and patient-education skills; able to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organized and quality-oriented; aligns with patient-centered service and operational excellence.
