Primary Responsibilities

Support the Legal and Compliance Manager ("LCM") in day-to-day activities such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Development, implementation and review of the legal and compliance ("L&C") program
  • Creation and maintenance of legal and compliance ("L&C") policies and procedures;
  • Dissemination, monitoring, and implementation by stakeholders of all circulars and issuances issued internally or received from regulatory bodies
  • Conduct of privacy impact assessments, and the preparation and submission of other regulatory documents/requirements;
  • Periodic risk assessment to identify areas posing higher compliance risks and manage them accordingly;
  • Regular compliance monitoring and testing;
  • Management of the regulatory relationships with each of the relevant regulators and liaise with them in their offices, as needed;
  • Building and maintenance of an effective and constructive relationships with all key business stakeholders;
  • Implementing the vision, strategy, direction, and leadership of the L&C function, the Senior Management, and the Board;
  • Administrative management of L&C records and documents;
  • Promotion of the culture and practice of L&C following high ethical standards by leading through example;
  • Maintenance of adequate  L&C management trackers across all aspects of the L&C function;
  • Develop L&C policies, procedures, and trainings and implement the same;
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned to L&C.

  • High level of ethics and professionalism;
  • Capable of thriving in challenge and adversity;
  • Fluent in English and Filipino with excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills;
  • Willing to work in a onsite setup with a head office in McKinley Hill, Taguig City, and to travel both locally and internationally when needed;
  • Background as a paralegal/legal assistant is a plus, but not required.
