Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced CPA with a Master's degree in Finance / Accounting and strong bookkeeping expertise, to manage the financial reporting and bookkeeping for multiple restaurants. This is a remote role open to candidates located in the Philippines, offering the opportunity to work with a Canadian team from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple restaurant locations
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Conduct annual review engagements for corporate and franchise locations
  • Prepare and file HST reports in compliance with Canadian regulations
  • Reconcile accounts, manage general ledgers, and ensure financial accuracy
  • Collaborate with the Canadian head office on reporting deadlines and compliance

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
  • Experience working with Canadian tax laws and HST filing is a strong asset
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple entities and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
