We're looking for a driven Intermediate/Senior Accountant to join our team in a fully remote, work-from-anywhere role where your skills and growth are valued. In this role, you'll collaborate virtually with a diverse client portfolio—including cryptocurrency clients—gain exposure across tax and compliance matters, and build the technical and advisory skills you need to progress toward senior-level responsibilities, all while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of remote work.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience with the following:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field (or equivalent).3–5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1.5–2 years in an Australian public accounting firm.Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience preparing tax returns for individuals, trusts, and companies.At least 1 year of experience in Australian bookkeeping, including the preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS.Actively progressing toward or already enrolled in the CPA Program (must have commenced).Proficient in Xero Accounting Software and comfortable working with modern cloud-based platforms.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

Preparing and analysing financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.Maintaining general ledger accounts and performing account reconciliations.Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.Supporting clients in cryptocurrency accounting, including crypto transaction reconciliation and reporting.Completing detailed workpapers and supporting documentation for compliance and internal review.Assisting in providing timely, accurate insights and advisory support to clients.
