Role Overview:
An Operations Manager responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the business while providing high-level administrative support to the executive team. This role is critical to the success of a custom furniture manufacturing business, as it requires a blend of excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. However, as part of their expansion, they are looking to move into small drop shipped merchandise items. The ideal candidate is a proactive and resourceful individual who can manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and Project Coordination: Directly overseeing the Marketing & Sales role and assist with the planning and execution of various business projects, coordinating with internal & external teams.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Order Fulfillment: Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, from the point of sale to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Inventory and Logistics: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate logistics to ensure products are received, processed, and shipped efficiently.
Customer Service: Address and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints related to orders, delivery, and products, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Data Analysis: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, delivery times, and customer satisfaction, providing regular reports to the executive team.
Document Management: Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, contracts, and business records, ensuring all documents are easily accessible and confidential information is handled with discretion.
Qualifications
· Solid experience in e-commerce or manufacturing operations furniture related industry
· Strong understanding of supply chain management and worked with US/Australia companies or have lived there
· Exceptional organizational and process management skills
· Meticulous attention to detail
· Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage time effectively under pressure
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· High level of proficiency with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to have
· Experience with CRM: Hubspot, Zoho, and Odoo
· Basic knowledge accounting software: Quickbooks and Xero
· Payment processing: Wise and Stripe
· Marketing tool: Klaviyo AI: ChatGPT
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 6 PM (Manila Time)
Work location:
Hired staff are expected to report to the office at least 10 times/month (remaining working days are WFH)
Should have a strong internet connection (minimum of 20 MBPS)
