The Technical Training & Development Manager is responsible for providing strategic directions on the development of technical competencies and deployment of the technical schools to support the training requirement of the whole supply chain operations workforce where offerings are aligned with the organization's established competencies and with anticipation of the future competency requirements.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate in the field of Engineering or Food Technology, preferably licensed
  • With a minimum of 5 years in food and manufacturing in supervisory position and training facilitation
  • Has technical expertise in Feeds Manufacturing, Poultry & Meats Processing, or Live Operations
  • Understands data analytics for dashboard monitoring and information management
  • Has an appreciation of other allied functions such as Engineering and Maintenance, Logistics, Sales, Quality Assurance and Operations Planning
  • Must have attended in Technical School Training Offerings, preferably as Resource Speaker

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Technical Training & Competency Development
  • Lead in the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of the learning curriculum of the PHC Food Processing and Engineering Schools where offerings are aligned with the business competency requirement and accreditation to the Professional Regulation Commission's continuing education.
  • Conduct Competency Assessment
  • Lead in the conduct of competency assessment of employees in all levels to determine levels of competency based on established competency basket.
  • Conduct of Training & Development Programs
  • Lead in the conduct of training programs based on identified needs, including assessment of training effectiveness. The position also is responsible in ensuring that the identified development plans of identified personnel will be monitored and followed as planned.
  • Administrative & People Development
  • Ensures that all personnel is competent, reliable, and capable of performing their tasks by constantly monitoring their performance and contribution to the business.
