JR Accountant

The Junior Accountant is responsible for performing daily accounting activities related to real estate operations. This includes recording transactions, preparing financial statements, managing payables and receivables, and assisting in tax compliance. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of accounting systems. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the finance and management teams to ensure accurate reporting and smooth financial operations.

• Record and monitor daily financial transactions related to real estate sales and operations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate general ledgers.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with BIR and other government requirements.
• Support audit processes by providing necessary financial documentation.
• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cost allocations for real estate developments.
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and property-related documents.
• Collaborate with the HR and Admin teams for payroll and benefits accounting.
• Provide recommendations to improve accounting systems and workflows.

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or accounting.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Knowledgeable in financial reporting, taxation, and compliance standards.
• Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
