Position:  Analyst, Reconciliation

Location: Manila, Philippines

Summary:

The Analyst reports to the Reconciliation Associate Manager and will be responsible for Reconciliation functions and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

• Perform bank reconciliations in a regular basis, providing clear instructions to the Cash Team on adjustments needed (e.g., journal entries for unrecorded payments or bank charges).
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet accounts every month-end and quarter-end in an accurate and timely manner.
• Helps to identify and resolve discrepancies found in reconciliations.
• Ensures balance sheet reconciliation adheres to corporate policy, local statutory & US GAAP standards, and established controls
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve reconciliation processes.
• Assists with audits by providing supporting records and documentation.
• Other tasks to be assigned.

Requirements:

• BS Accountancy graduate from a reputable college or university; CPA preferred but not required
• At least two to three years relevant experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Strong accounting background, knowledge in IFRS and/or US GAAP
• Experience in working with a multinational company, BPO, or Shared Services; and willing to report in shifting schedules
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to details
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with teammates and offshore contacts
• Average to above average oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge in developing macro-programs is an advantage
• Experience in Workday Financials, Blackline, or similar ERP system
• Flexible, assertive, team player
