Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing key accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and audits, while also providing support for accounts payable operations. The Senior Accountant plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of all financial processes.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
  • Post journal entries and ensure all accounting records are up to date
  • Support and contribute to the month-end and year-end close process
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory financial requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software NetSuite accounting systems
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions

  • On-site-based role with standard working hours
  • Occasional overtime during month-end or audit periods
  • Shift is from 6AM to 3PM, Tuesday to Saturday

Job Type: Temporary

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Php30, Php34,000.00 per month
