Audit Senior Accountant


Department: Audit

We are seeking a
highly motivated Audit Senior Accountant
who's ready to take on greater responsibility, expand technical expertise, and play a key role within our growing CPA firm. In this position, you will lead all aspects of audit engagements — from planning to completion — while mentoring junior staff and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion.
  • Supervise, coach, and review the work of audit staff.
  • Prepare audit schedules, financial statements, notes, and related reports.
  • Reconcile client records to trial balance, perform analytical procedures, and compute schedules such as prepaids, accruals, and depreciation.
  • Utilize firm software to automate financial statement preparation and streamline processes.
  • Ensure all work is completed within budget and time constraints while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives, projects, and training sessions.
  • Perform other accounting, auditing, and consulting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, Business
    , or a related field.
  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    in audit engagements; experience in
    Not-for-Profit and Governmental entities
    preferred.
  • CPA eligibility required
    ;
    CPA license preferred.
  • Solid understanding of
    GAAP
    and general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Excel and Word
    ; experience with
    ProSystems fx Engagement, SMART E-Practice, and PPC Tools
    is a plus.
  • Excellent
    English communication skills
    , both written and verbal.
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong client service and attention to detail.
  • Experience in Corporate, Nonprofit, Construction, Single Audit, Government/Yellow Book, or Employee Benefit Plans is an advantage.
