Job Summary

  • Responsible in providing general HR Support and consulting in positive employee relations, performance management and ensuring compliance with personnel policies that affect people at work.
  • Organizes employee communication channels, manages complaint procedures, gives updates on local labor laws, and handles other pertinent employee activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance of the company on General Labor Standards, Occupational Safety & Health Standards and Security of Tenure.
  • Carries out employee relations initiatives, such as the wellness and welfare program, industrial relations, rewards and recognition, and other pertinent employee-related activities.
  • Assist the HR Manager in handling disciplinary and administrative cases for direct hired employees.
  • Makes certain that disciplinary actions and grievance procedures are handled in accordance with corporate guidelines and labor laws.
  • Creates memos for approval and sends them to staff members; works with line managers to provide employee counseling and consultation.
  • Prepare reports on Employee Relations and Labor Cases both for direct and indirect employees.
  • Encourage and offer a forum for employee complaints, suggestions, and issues (HR Help Desk, Employee Survey), and make sure that these are addressed within the allotted time.
  • Performs other related duties that may be assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Psychology /Behavioral Science, Legal Management, Human Resource Management/Development or any related courses
  • With at least 2-3 years of people handling and management experience or in the related field
  • Have a working knowledge on Labor Management Relations and Local Government Regulations
  • Handles sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and tact
  • Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City
