JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, BS Information Technology and its equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years' extensive experience in different operating systems, installation and configuration of computer systems and applications
  • With excellent problem solving and time management skills, with ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution, a team player and can work independently
  • Additional certification or license an advantage but not required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Installs and configures computer hardware operating systems, software, applications, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitors and maintains computer systems and networks
  • Keep track of users' system issues until resolved by adhering to the agreed timelines
  • Ensures proper logging of all issues
  • Troubleshoots system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
  • Provides support and maintains procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Supports the roll-out of new applications
  • Set-ups new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
  • Conducts electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
  • Provides technical support across the organization
  • Repairs and replace equipment as necessary
  • Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates / individuals involved
  • Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware
  • Maintains a working log detailed all required system updates, as well as date of completion
  • Resolves technical issues related to network interruptions in a timely manner to service issues and requests
