Role Expectations:
- Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to enhance product performance and market share.
- Planning and Activation: Leads the team in coming up with an optimized assortment per channel per region aided by internal and external factors. Collaborate with teams to ensure effective product assortment, pricing, and inventory management.
- Shopper Communications/Promotions: Recommend actionable in-store solutions based on a clear understanding of shopper behavior within the priority channels. Recommend clear promotional guidelines based on shopper understanding and current market knowledge.
- New Product Development: Lead the launch of new products within assigned categories, from concept to market introduction.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Merchandising: Create compelling merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and customer engagement.
- Customer Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers to drive category growth.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales data, consumer insights, and market research to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Performance Metrics: Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for category development initiatives.
Candidate's Profile Expectations:
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Course, or any related field or degree.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience in Trade Sales specifically in a progressive FMCG company, People Manager role/team lead is a plus.
- Proven experience in category management, product development, or any related role.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
