Resource Optimization and Market Interface Senior Engineer

Responsible for contributing to the efficient and reliable operation of the power grid through proactive resource management and market interface activities.

  • Prepare and analyze power outlook reports, including weekly operating reports and programs, to ensure accurate forecasting and operational planning.
  • Monitor and facilitate Ancillary Service procurement, Grid Compliance adherence, and Plant Capability Certifications, ensuring regulatory requirements and system stability are maintained.
  • Conduct research on new methodologies in operations planning and Ancillary Services and prepare documentation such as mems and reports for the unit.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree with applicable licensure exam
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in oral and written Filipino and English communications
  • Competent in MS Office tools
  • Proficient in Power System Analysis and Operations Planning
  • Knowledgeable in Regulatory Compliance and Market Interface
  • Competent in Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Meticulous attention to detail and well-organized
  • Strong analytical skills
