Corporate Compliance Officer

The Corporate Compliance Officer will report to the Admin Assistant Manager and will be responsible for contracts management and corporate entity compliance that ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The Corporate Compliance Officer will also work with other divisions of Sunnies Inc to develop and implement compliance strategies that align with the company's business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Review existing contracts of the company and recommend actions to close any exposures found.
  • Understand corporate compliance gaps and work with different division to develop corrective action plans.
  • Stay up to date on changes to laws and regulations that may impact the company's compliance obligations.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
  • Provide compliance training to employees and management.

Job Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a compliance-related role or paralegal, preferably in a retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Must have experience with SEC (GIS RENEWABLE, AOI AMMENDMENT)
  • Must have experience with Sales Agreement and Lease Agreement
  • Preferably has knowledge/experience with NPC - Data Privacy
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as consumer protection laws and data privacy laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
