The Strategic Retail Manager is responsible for the overall success of his/her assigned account/s. This person will contributes to the overall business growth by proactively identifying key growth opportunities in line with business directions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts in-depth analysis of external market trends and historical data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement within assigned accounts.

  • Formulates and implements tailored sales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives and work plan for each account. Regularly monitors sales performance and recommends corrective actions when necessary to ensure targets are met.

  • Oversees and manages account resources, including discounts, promotional budgets, and strategic funds, ensuring expenditures remain within agreed allocations and deliver expected returns. Adheres to established standards and protocols for effective account and channel management.

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key accounts through consistent engagement, including consultation meetings, store visits, and business reviews.

  • Ensures compliance with all operational procedures relevant to the assigned territory. Applies standard forecasting practices and protocols to produce accurate and timely account-level forecasts. Track weekly sell-out performance per store, segmented by brand, category, series, and capacity.

  • Monitor inventory levels at the branch level and collaborate with the Product Distribution Group to ensure timely stock transfers and optimal inventory levels.

  • Provide guidance to PCS and PC teams to ensure KPI achievement; coach and develop their skills while reinforcing performance discipline. Assess the effectiveness of marketing promotions and provide recommendations to the Account Manager for further actions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must hold at least a Bachelor's/College degree BSBA Marketing/Operations Management or any field.

  • Requires a minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

  • Preferably with experience at the Assistant Manager level, specializing in Sales – Retail/General or a related field.

  • Amenable to work on field and within Ilo-Ilo province.
