Summary:

The role is an individual contributor responsible for conducting forest and agricultural resource inventories, including GPS data gathering, tree mensuration, and species identification. The role ensures accurate field documentation and coordination. The candidate must be open to a consultancy contract agreement and willing to be deployed to Quezon, Northern Samar or Currimao, Ilocos Norte.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts
    comprehensive resource inventory
    of forest and agricultural assets, ensuring accurate and complete data collection.
  • Provide
    technical guidance
    on methodologies and strategies for resource inventory, including: GPS data gathering, tree mensuration and tagging, accurate species identification, geotagging with waypoint and photographic documentation
  • Facilitate regular
    coordination meetings
    with the GIS team and on-site personnel for efficient data processing and validation.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings and reinforce
    safety protocols
    with the inventory team, including coordination with DENR personnel.
  • Manage all
    physical and electronic records
    , ensuring secure storage and proper documentation of data collected in the field.
  • Ensure
    timely submission of field data
    to the GIS team for mapping and analysis.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation, including but not limited to:

Inventory sheets/tally sheets (for FLAg, NGP, and PCA areas)

Stand Stock Tables

Geotagged photo layouts

Inventory and endorsement reports

Post-inspection reports from DENR and PCA

  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the hiring manager.

Pre-requisites
:

Education & License:
Must be a
licensed Forester

Experience:
With relevant field experience in
resource inventory
(forest and agricultural), data gathering, and technical reporting.

Technical Competence:
Knowledgeable in geotagging procedures and coordinating with GIS for data processing.

Data & Records Management:
Capable of managing both physical and digital records from field operations.

Location:
Must be
willing to be deployed
in either
Quezon Province, Northern Samar
or
Currimao, Ilocos Norte
based on project needs.

Other Requirements:
Physically fit for fieldwork and willing to work in remote or forested areas under varying conditions.
