The Forest Ranger is responsible for protecting, conserving, and managing forest resources within assigned areas. The role involves monitoring forest activities, preventing illegal logging or poaching, assisting in forest rehabilitation programs, and promoting environmental awareness among local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol and monitor forest areas to prevent illegal activities such as logging, hunting, and encroachment.
  • Enforce forestry laws, regulations, and environmental policies.
  • Conduct inspections of forest lands, wildlife habitats, and protected areas.
  • Participate in tree planting, reforestation, and forest rehabilitation programs.
  • Assist in fire prevention and firefighting operations within forest areas.
  • Record and report any environmental damage, illegal activities, or safety hazards.
  • Conduct environmental education and awareness campaigns for local communities.
  • Support biodiversity and wildlife conservation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and local communities for forest protection efforts.
  • Maintain records and submit regular reports on patrols, incidents, and forest conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of environmental laws and forest conservation practices.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors under various conditions.
  • Excellent observation, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in coordination with teams or local authorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php14, Php14,867.00 per month
